Macallan 1938 31 Year Old Fine & Rare

Part of the revered Fine & Rare series from The Macallan, this 31-year-old expression was distilled in 1938 and was originally bottled in 1969 before being re-bottled in 2002. Presented at a strength of 43% abv, this release had a total outturn of just 198 bottles.The nose is soft and inviting with apples and orange balanced with wood, peat and cinnamon spice. The palate is a rich mix of wood and peat with some dried fruits and orange, before a fruity finish with wood and soft lingering peat smoke.
